This is Beautiful....and definitely something
to think about.
I asked God to take away my pride.
GOD said" No." It is not for me to
take away,
but for you to give it up.
I asked GOD to make my handicapped child
whole.
GOD said "No."
Her spirit was whole, her body was only
temporary.
I asked GOD to grant me patience ,
GOD said "No." Patience is a by
product of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is earned
I asked GOD to give me happiness.
GOD said "No." I give you
blessings,
happiness is up to you.
I asked GOD to make my spirit grow.
GOD said "No." You must grow
on your own,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
GOD said "No."
I will give you life so that you may enjoy
all things
I ask GOD to help me LOVE others, as much as
he loves me.
GOD said..Ahhhh, finally you have the idea!
****************
What if GOD couldn't take the time to bless us today
because we couldn't take the time to thank
HIM yesterday?
What if GOD decided to stop leading us tomorrow
because we didn't follow HIM today?
What if we never saw another flower bloom
because we grumbled when GOD sent the rain?
What if GOD didn't walk with us today
because we failed to recognize it as
HIS day?
What if GOD took away HIS message
because we failed to listen to the
messenger?
What if GOD stopped loving and caring for us
because we failed to love and care for
others?
What if GOD would not hear us today
because we would not listen to HIM yesterday?
What if GOD answered our prayers
the way we answer HIS call to
service?
What if GOD met our needs
the way we give HIM our lives???
What if we failed to send this message on?
THIS IS A SIMPLE TEST.....
If you love GOD, send this to ten people
and the person that sent it.

Below is an interesting story I've read.
Here it goes...
A philosophy professor stood before his class and
had some items in front of
him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up
a large empty mayonnaise
jar and proceeded to fill it with average size rocks
(around 4cm in
diameter). He then asked the students, if the jar
was full?
They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and
poured them into the
jar.
He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course,
rolled into the open
areas between the rocks. He then asked the students
again if the jar was
full.
They agreed it was. The students laughed.
The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it
into the jar. Of
course, the sand filled up everything else.
"Now", said the professor, "I want you to recognize
that this is your life"
The rocks are the important things in your life;
your family, your partner,
your children, your health, your religion. Anything
that is so important to
you that if were lost, you would be nearly
destroyed.
The pebbles are the other thins that matter like
your job, your career your
house, your car.
The sand is everything else; the small stuff.
If you put the sand into the jar first, there is no
room for the pebbles or
the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you
spend all your energy and
time on the small stuff, you will never have room
for the things that are
important to you.
Pay attention to the things that are critical to
your happiness. Play with
your children. Take time to get medical check-ups.
Take your partner out
dancing or to a fancy dinner. There will always be
time to go to work, to
clean the house, give a dinner party and fix the
disposal.
Take good care of the rocks first, the things that
really matter!!!
Set your priorities, the rest is just Sand.
